Youthful, lively and ambitious that's Chartreuse in a nutshell. With Spring/Summer just around the corner, I know I will be embracing this loud acidic shade of green. Its big news in the fashion world, will look great next to tan skin and teamed with grey..enjoy.

Boho is Back

Boho is back! and its big, bigger than ever, think Diana Ross big! It's always been my thing, to follow the hippie trail, so for my birthday outfit I really wanted to embrace the 70's but with a modern twist, just like Serena, gossip girl. I love white/cream with crisp citrus lips and that was my starting point for the modern edge. The top is Topshop and it has the cutest most flattering racer back with zip. I used my amazing Tom Ford lipstick in 'True Coral' to contrast and of course painted my nails in the ever so amazing Barry M 'mushroom.'

In true Gossip Girl style I layered accessories including my big statement piece necklace from Primark and a ruby cocktail ring. The skirt is H+M and has a great body-con fit. I think it will look great with mustard also. I'm so looking forward to embracing the 70's more romantically in lots of white for summer...

Little Angels

More presents?! From two of my best friends, a little angel to watch over me (brought back from from Canary Islands), a beautiful hippy top with daisy detailing by Topshop and I was also given 'Seductive' perfume by Guess...they know me so well...

Spoiled...

So I was a spoilt little birthday hippy..and I'm going to be telling you all about my best birthday ever with thoughtful gifts and messages and of course lots and lots of cake...so 1st on my list to review is the one and only Body Shop Body Butter..oh wow..from my cousin and my cutesy roomie...

I was always a mango kind of girl but after recently trying these uber cute travel sizes I now also love the Olive. I like the type that leave an oily like glowy shimmer, including blueberry and mango but Olive is perfectly natural. It's really refreshing and surprisingly a little fruity. I think it will be great in the summer on a hot day when you need extra hydration and refreshment, I love...

My birthday was filled with cake, cake and more cake! My fashion Queen Lin took me for a pre birthday tea at 'Vintage Tea House' in Reigate and it was amazing. We had smoked salmon and cream sandwiches and earl grey mmmm it was so good. The tea house is filled with little vintage treasures which you can purchase, it was such a treat for the eyes, like a cove of treasure...(see the prettiest teapot ever)...

For my actual birthday I woke up really early to catch mama before work and she gave me a breakfast full of presents..including the Bourjois vintage Paris print blusher, cute scallop vests from Topshop and 'You've Got Mail' DVD. Very spoiled. This was followed by a fun filled day with the boy in Brighton. He treated me to the most tastiest lunch at Cocoa, an authentic French patisserie (see the chocolate, caramel and raspberry tart, the cake filled window and tartiflette - oh my.) We wondered down by all the cutesy lane shops and I spent most of the afternoon admiring the new, and rather large Urban Outfitters! I still have meringues from Cocoa, dinner with the fam and partying all to look forward to..I don't want it to end..very blessed, happy hippy.x

This Sunday was filled with lots of romance...endless tea, pancakes, sweets, movies and the perfect home cooked risotto made by the amazing boy...mmmmm the best ever! I love Sundays there's something about them that's so relaxing..

mama is the best person to shop with; she always finds the most amazing pieces that I'm looking for, she knows what I love, and we have so much fun. We used to go shopping every Saturday when I was younger and then when I started working weekends since I was 16 I got so sad that we couldn't do it any more. So any time off I have especially a weekend I love spending the day shopping with mama hippy.. This time I got the most amazing rusty coloured body con skirt from H+M, that I've been craving for ages, some underwear and we looked for inspiration for my birthday..which I am uber excited about...

True Coral

As my first day off from work, on my holiday I wanted to be productive so I had the best day blogging, sketch booking and applying for jobs...it felt so nice to be able to have time to do the things I love. As it's Valentines and my birthday soon I treated myself to a Tom Ford lipstick and its so beautiful I could cry! with its uber shiny white and gold casing and TF formed shape in the lipstick, its so perfect I don't want to use it! But it was a treat for me for working hard and now when I wear it I am going to think about V-day, my birthday and the start to my new year..its a celebratory lipstick and I love it...I'm so looking forward to tomorrow, I am shopping with mama hippy and we are going to find the perfect birthday outfit..as always will keep you updated and photos will follow soon...
