Matte Nails

Love the 'matte' trend for nails this season. This colour featured is Revlon in Ruby Ribbon, such a perfect colour for those crisp autumn days. Glides on silky and dries matte! amazing....

Faux Fur Frenzy...

Right now I am little bit obsessed with my vintage inspired faux-fur coat from New Look. It's so me and totally captures my 60's rough diamond ambiance. I love it! That's another 'must have' item crossed off my autum/winter wish list. The coat features in October's Vogue.

My new Style Crush is Florrie Arnold...
Florrie is only 21 and already she has written songs for Cheryl Cole, played drums for girls aloud and is putting the finishing touches to her own untitled album as we speak. Not only does she have all this under her belt but she is the ultimate new style crush of the season. With her golden bedhead curls, porcelain perfect doll skin and soft rose lips, whats not to like;

Her style is classic chic and she opts for fit over colours or trends for her look.

I think her style icons would be Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn.
Florrie is the star of Nina Ricci's latest advertising campaign.

I thought there would be no better way to end the summer in style in a LWD..following the celeb craze this season of taking over the LBD, I teamed mine with my fave tangerine lipstick, grey peeptoe shoes and a curly updo for instant glamour. Team yours with navy, black, grey and camel for this season's winning colour pallete. "Winter white says im expensive" Vogue.

Okay so it would be so hard to pick the ultimate fashion style icon..but I think I have mine...Rachel Bilson. Her style is unique and she does it all herself. The way she captures trends and themes with her own twist is just adorable. She can pull off everything from chic vintage jumpsuits to gossip girl dresses. I love her signature look; romantic bohemian, amen.x

My Life was made complete when I found out that H&M are finally going online next month. The thought of being able to purchase all their amazing bargains from the comfort of my own home actually makes me feel weak at the knees... I have, on many occasions been in store and found the best items are outta stock in my size and because I have to have it, I have been willing to drag myself to another store in hope to find it..not any more now I can order everything from my sofa...oh wow this is going to be a dream...

AMAZING...OK so I only just watched this film but OMG am I inspired..I want to be Erin Brockovich, she has three kids, been walked out on by two men, no money and she works her ass off to try and get a job, practically with her little baby in her arm. This trend from Topshop sums up my style in a nutshell. Hence the name Hippy Sal; Red lips, kohl smokey eyes, leopard print, polka dots, tattoo print tees tucked into high waisted jeans, tan loafers, velvet bows. My style has a 60's fun about it; I love mixing vibes whilst creating a girly ambience but with a 'I also borrowed this from my boyfriend' edge...enjoy the Rough Diamond trend..I want every piece in the collection...

Cupcake Heaven...

My Cupcake workshop that I have been dying to go to since I got the present in February, was amazing. We learned how to make sugar roses, butterfly's and bows and oh my the icing is just so good it hurts! I think my fav one is the pink icing with the yellow polka dots - so me! It was real fun to be creative with cakes and I totally love making them look pretty...so much fun and now I want to go to the chocolate workshop oh and the cocktail one! Thanks mama.x.
