'nonchalance'

Audrey Tautou in Coco Before Chanel (2009)

The most iconic fashion designer of all time has to be Coco Chanel. Capturing masculine yet elegant style she was the first to adopt the simple, chic Breton look. Her influence was her vivid image of fisherman working out at sea, wearing navy and white striped t-shirts. The classic and cool Breton top symbolises Chanel's amazing, effortless style. Using her signature loose fit, wide neck and dropped shoulders, that show off the beautiful feminine neck lines, this piece oozes that perfect nonchalance.

She defied convention and followed her heart in style and love, creating her own unique dress code that went against the expected. She chose comfort over corsets; "Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury." Coco Chanel.
Coco's classic designs are still loved and adored by every woman today.

Define your own modern woman creation by using classic pieces and mixing them with your favourites; a classic Breton top, tailored trousers/shorts, tweed crop jacket, waistcoats, hats, collar dresses, cream pieces with navy trims, pearls, quilted bags and patent pumps.....
