Remember Me.x

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I am in the middle of planning lots of new projects and things that I want to work on. At this time in my life I am going to be experiencing a lot of new beginnings; I am moving home, starting a new job and going back to my passion of creativity and fashion. Sometimes its the little changes in your life that make the biggest difference. Although it will be strange for me to move back home again, and loose a little independence I can savour the opportunity to do the things I really want to do, and not have to worry about the heavy expense of living out for a while. I am leaving my current job and like a friend told me, its all about enjoying the journey.

I recently watched the film 'Remember Me' and I really liked it (any film with Robert Pattinson in is great) It did have a sad twist at the end but it did make me think about Life and how sometimes we do things, and at the time it does not seem to mean anything but then later it does.. I guess I am trying to relate to the Gandhi quote used in the film; 'Gandhi said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant. But it's very important that you do it.'

Everything happens for a reason and don't worry if you can't see the reason at first. That is life and enjoy it!...

You've Got Mail!

There's something relaxing, almost satisfying about watching a film that you already know and love. Women like security in knowing how the film is going to end! I have particular movies for particular moods, again it's a female thing, I don't think guys can relate to this!? I watch 'Pretty Woman' when I'm feeling romantic and hopeful, 'How to loose a guy' when I want to swoon over Matthew McConaughey and I watch 'The September Issue' for inspirational energy. Today I watched 'You've Got Mail' as I wanted to drink tea whilst watching and feel like I was in New York! Us women love the 'classic' narrative of two people that just aren't meant to fall in love but do. What are your movies that you know well and will always love?

"What is it you REALLY like to do? Eat!"

I recently watched the delightful film Julie and Julia (2009)and it really inspired me. It tells the story of two rather inspirational women who's lives become intertwined, even though in two totally different times, they both find their success in cooking; "they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible."

Whilst the plot unfolds with both women using their passion for cooking to get their dreams, this light hearted comedy drama captures the beautiful relationships of the supportive and loving husbands; "You are the butter to my bread, you are the breath to my life." Love this movie...
