Take a walk on your wild side..and show your inner vamp. One trend I am really looking forward to embracing this season is the fetish vamp trend. Wine stained lips with black crushed velvets, killer heels, lots of lace and hardcore leather. I recently purchased some leather shorts from Asos Marketplace and I love how versatile they are. Teaming with shirts and peter-pan collars gives it a girly twist yet lace, sheer fabrics and a vampy lip shouts all things fetish. How have you adopted the vamp trend?

I love this time of year when all the autumn and winter pieces start pouring into the stores..I enjoy dressing for winter and I find it so much easier than dressing for summer. I always consider comfort 1st when putting an outfit together, the uber soft fabrics and chunky knits make me a very happy hippy. Plus I will totally be embracing the 'boy meets girl' trend. If only I had a hott bf to steal clothes off of! I adore being snug as a bug and girls look so hott dressed like guys! Looking forward to dark cold nights with endless tea, chocolate and movies! For an evening look my signature style often embraces the classic red lip..although I've recently been channelling the modern approach - orangey reds and brighter pinky reds. In the summer I love adopting a bright lip with sun-kissed skin. Lipstick is so powerful, it can change a whole outfit and make such an impact. I have been collecting lipsticks forever, and I find Mac last really well with a variety of finishes to choose from. Think the more orangey/coral tones suit my skin tone better than the red pinky ones..but I do really want to get a new colour to wear with yellow ..what are your fave colours?...

Outfits I have recently been sporting for work..I am so pioneered right now by the 'boy meets girl' look. I have a really 'girly' personality but my signature style is not really like this. I prefer it more unpolished bit more hippy, more free and unrefined. I usually put girly twists on things or mix with pretty accessories, make up or detailing. Plus my girl crush of the moment is Fearne Cotton. She's always right on trend but in keeping with her 'girl next door' style..
Also I am really feeling to do something new with my hair, go short? keep it long and change colour? dip dye? I am so indecisive...

Recent photos from my hippy life...the usual; flower hair, easy going denim, girls nights and retail therapy...This summer I have started my personal shopper job and loving it! I get to shop for a living! I have been embracing Zumba, in classes and on the Wii Fit, which is a saint for toning! A few other projects up my sleeve include getting back to my art work and love of painting + making a folk band and singing away those summer nights! Hippy xx

I was watching an old episode of SATC, the one where Big rescues Carrie in Paris. She gives a very emotional yet inspirational speech to Aleksandr Petrovsky about her as being someone who is looking for love. Real love;

"I am someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous inconvenient consuming can't live without each other love. And I don't think that love is here."

It made me relate to Carrie in the sense that I have the same beliefs about Love. The all or nothing kind of love. I am such a hopeless romantic, I dream about things in my life being like film love scenes, I shed tears to old mushy love songs and I cry when the princess finds her prince in Disney movies. I keep love quotes, have a 'love' song play-list and I watch the same rom-coms over and over again in the hope that one day, just like Carrie, I find Real love. On that note I was thinking about getting a 'love tattoo' What do you think would be a traditional love approach and not something tacky?...

I recently went to a Marie Antoinette birthday party and it was to die for...with an Ice Swan, beautiful cupcakes, French court room dress, ice cream cake, pink champagne and so much more. Channelling our French courtroom dress with a more vintage approach, Jaymie and I mixed lace, polka dots, bows, feathered masks and pearls to our ensembles. The cupcakes were the best I ever had and Lin aka Fashion Queen looked so beautiful. It was such a dream like evening. Love you FQ xxxm
