Summer Inspiration..

Been so lovely and warm lately..makes me want to whip out my summer wardrobe already, embrace the pastels, books festivals and holidays...so excited. This year want to grow my hair really long and dip dye ends in pastel shades of lilac, turquoise, pink and blue. Want a proper crazy summer, filled with crazy summer nights, stacks of rings + bangles, denim pastels, tattoos, golden skin, festivals, beach holidays, cider..summer of love..♥

Here Comes the Summer Sun

Today was so warm that the boy and I decided to go to Richmond park for a spot of spring sunshine! I adore Richmond park, it always amazes me. It is actually so huge and has endless walking spots, and beautiful deer roaming free. We soaked up the rays, ate scrumptious food and fed the ducks! Such a perfect spring day. My OOTD: Chino's (so comfy for strolling), baggy white vest layered with denim shirt, my Cat Eye sunnies and Aztec hairband, complete with my tassel tan loafers.

Spring is Offically Here!

It's official! Spring is here and I'm uber excited..I want to plan lots of nice things to look forward to like day trips and holidays..have you all made plans? As I am kind of broke right now I haven't been able to as of yet but sometimes it's the little things that make us happy...like today I'm enjoying walks in the sun, hanging with friends, listening to Bruno Mars, (love every track on his album) and admiring a few recent cheap and cheerful purchases!

I love making lists especially in cute notebooks, love my cupcake one that mama got me. Today I'm going to make a list of the key pieces I'd like for summer. I have so many clothes, I have a whole summer wardrobe to get out! But I do like to buy statement pieces that I'll wear forever. What key pieces will you be purchasing for this summer?

This year, as every year for me, I will be over-dosing in my inner hippy style, enjoying the summer of love, and following the ultimate in style icons. I love laid back chic with attention to detail. Looking to the old time faves of Boho like Drew Barrymore, Rachel Bilson and Sienna Miller but also inspired by all the the hott US series character icons such as Ivy - 90210 and Vanessa - Gossip Girl...

The 'must have' accessory for a 2011 hippy has got to be the silver/turquoise statement piece, which I can't get enough of.
